Zvonimir Šostar, MD, Director of the Andrija Štampar Teaching Institute of Public Health, has signed a grant agreement on the implementation of the project” Food Safety and Quality Center “on May 28, 2018 at the Ministry of Science and Education.
The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and approved under the call “Investing in Organizational Reform and Infrastructure in the Research, Development and Innovation Sector”. Based on this Call, grants were granted to stimulate an open innovation system that responds to the needs of the economy, aimed at improving the capacity of research organizations to carry out top-level scientific research for further transfer of knowledge and skills that can significantly contribute to social development and economic growth.
The “Food Safety and Quality Center” project will last for four years and will strengthen the research and analytical capacities of the Institute in the field of food safety and quality and strengthen the competitiveness and brand protection of Croatian food producers on domestic and foreign markets.
Corellia advisory experts have developed comprehensive feasibility study, which is an integral part of the documentation based on which the Institute has approved grants of up to 61.3 million HRK.
